Easy A is an American comedy film written by Bert V. Royal and directed by Will Gluck. Partially inspired by the novel The Scarlet Letter, the film was shot at Screen Gems studios and in Ojai, California. Screen Gems will be its distributor with an expected release on September 17, 2010.

Plot: After a little white lie about losing her virginity gets out, a clean cut high school girl sees her life paralleling Hester Prynne's in "The Scarlet Letter," which she is currently studying in school - until she decides to use the rumor mill to advance her social and financial standing.

CW's Hellcats

Check out the promo trailers for CW's new series Hellcats. Coming this fall. Hellcats stars Ashley Tisdale & Aly Michalka from the band Aly & Aj, know known as 78Violet. The show is based on the book Cheer: Inside the Secret World of College Cheerleaders by journalist Kate Torgovnick. The series is described as "Election" meets Bring It On"

Hellcats revolves around Marti, a pre-law college student from the wrong side of the tracks. When budget cutbacks and her mother's constant carelessness cause her to lose her scholarship, she joins the Hellcats, the college's competitive cheerleading team.

Lauren Conrad's Style

Check out the cover of Lauren Conrad's new book called "Style". I seriously don't know what to think of the cover. She can do better. It's cute though.

As announced before, Lauren Conrad is adding non fiction to her author repertoire. The idea to write a style book was inspired by her fans.

“The first book tour I went on, I had the opportunity to meet thousands and thousands of fans. The majority of the questions were about fashion,” explains Lauren. “It was fun to share all the things I had learned.”

Lauren Conrad Style will be complete with never-before-seen photos and relatable advice from Lauren and her glam squad. It will also include, “personal stories, live and learn stories” and “a couple of high school horror stories”.

After years of life in the spotlight, Lauren finds wearing cocktail dresses on the red carpet easier than dressing for everyday life. But fear not, Lauren’s book will have a chapter for every occasion. She even tackles the task of defining the category of business casual.

Lauren’s must-tip is not to be afraid to take your pieces to a tailor to achieve your perfect fit. “Most of the things I buy are tailored,” she says. Lauren Conrad Style hits shelves on October 5, 2010, the same date as her third novel Sugar & Spice. I seriously can't wait for the 3rd installment of LA Candy too. Exciting!

Ripped or Distressed Jeans is one of the hottest trends right now. Popularized in the 1980s, the fashion trend revolves around wearing jeans which are ripped, frayed, bleached or excessively worn. FYI: The word "jeans" came from the French phrase bleu de Gênes, literally the blue of Genoa.

I already have the black skinny distressed & pegged boyfriend jeans. I just need the distressed skinny in denims. I need to shop right now!
